SUPERINTENDENT CADRE CATEGORY
Superintendent of Immigration (SI) CONPASS 11
Professionals (Doctors)
- Applicants must be holders of MMBS degrees obtained from a recognized University.
- Applicants must have an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) CONPASS 10
Professionals (Pharmacists)
- Applicants must be first degree holders in Pharmacy obtained from a recognized University.
- Applicants must have an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Assistant Superintendent of Immigration (ASI-2) CONPASS 08
General Duty
- Applicants must be holders of first degree in any field.
- Applicants must have an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
INSPECTORATE CADRE CATEGORY
Senior Inspector of Immigration (SSI) CONPASS 08
General Duty
- The applicant must have an HND certification.
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate is required.
Professionals (Nurse)
- The candidate for this position must be a Registered Nurse, double qualified.
Inspector of Immigration (II) CONPASS 07
- The candidate for this position must be a Registered Nurse, single qualified.
Assistant Inspector of Immigration (AII) CONPASS 06
- Applicants must possess NCE/ND certification.
Assistant Cadre Category
Immigration Assistant III (IA-3) CONPASS 03
GENERAL DUTY
- Applicants for this position must have O’level SSCE/NECO/GCE with at least four (4) credits in not more than 2 sittings and must include English Language and Mathematics.
ARTISANS AND DRIVERS/MECHANICS
- Applicants must have O’level SSCE/NECO/GCE and an appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
Requirements For The Nigeria Immigration Recruitment 2020
- The applicant must be a Nigerian through birth.
- The applicant must possess a National Identity Number.
- Male applicants must be at least the height of 1.65m while the females must be at least 1.60m.
- Applicants must be 18 to 30 years of age; except for the Doctors and Pharmacists that are expected not to be above 35 years.
- Must be medically, psychologically, and physically fit and free from the following:
-Stammering
-Gross malformation of teeth
-Knocked knees
-Bent knees
-Bowlegs
-K legs
-Limb legs
-Bent arms/deformed hands/fracture
-Eye problems
-Other physical problems and challenges
- Must present a medical fit certificate from a government hospital.
- Free from hard drugs.
- The applicant must be free from a criminal conviction.
- Must be financially buoyant.
- Male applicants must have a chest measurement of at least 0.87m.
- Computer literacy.

The Nigeria Immigration Service aptitude test will be a computer-based test (CBT) and only the shortlisted candidates will be invited for the next phase of the immigration recruitment exercise.
The Immigration Service application is free of charge.
Any qualification which is not declared and accepted during the NIS recruitment would not be accepted after.
