The NTA Television College is the only Television College in Africa, it is owned by the Nigeria Television Authority, it was built to train television broadcasters in various fields such as Television Engineering, Television Journalism, Television Production, etc. The college is situated at Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

Requirements for NTA Television College Programmes
- Every candidate applying to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communication (Television Journalism/Television Production) must obtain credit in Mathematics, English Language and any other three (3) subjects in the humanities at not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE, WAEC, NECO, GCE “O” Level or NABTEB
- Four-Years Programme: Candidates must partake in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and acquire the required standard in the Use of English (compulsory) and three other subjects.
- Three-Years Programme: Candidates must be Diploma holders in Mass Communication, acquired from the Department of Mass Communication, ABU, Zaria, Diploma in Journalism or Television Journalism, Mass Communication or Television Productions obtained from any recognized institution with a minimum of Merit Pass OR Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) of the Ahmadu Bello University in at least three (3) subjects obtained at not less than “C” Level
