NITDA Digital States Initiative Registration 2021 Apply Here
NITDA Digital States Initiative Registration is currently ongoing free of charge for at least 540 Nigerian youths from each of the beneficiary states comprising of Rivers, Kano, Lagos, and Gombe as the kick-off.
The skill acquisition program is set to spread across the whole 36 states in the country including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on a long run with a target of about 20,000 youths benefiting from free basic digital literacy workshops on the various fields listed here.
The Initiative is organized and funded by the National Information Development Agency (NITDA)and Microsoft with the support of the Federal Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy to equip the beneficiaries with digital and life skills which will aid in Nigeria’s transition to the Digital Economy.
The available fields in which the beneficiaries will be trained are as follows:
Recommended for business owners and entrepreneurs to improve sales of digital entrepreneurs in their new or already existing businesses.
Recommended for students, employees in the workforce, as well as beginners in the use of digital tools to increase productivity.
Recommended for students and jobseekers to enable the creation of content to promote online businesses especially on social media platforms.
Note: Every candidate is entitled to up to 2 classes, however, each candidate will be placed in one class and every class has a limited capacity, therefore students will be placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

- Accurately fill the online application form.
- Tick the tick-able options skill selection.
- Submit application and await shortlist.
The registration deadline was not announced, however interested candidates should apply as soon as possible.
Only youths with the residency of Lagos state, Gombe state, Rivers state, and Kano state can apply for this phase of the program, meanwhile, youths in other states need not panic as their states will participate in subsequent phases.
